Joint certificate of achievement participation will be issued by CoachSG and RP Target Audience Otherwise, a certification of attendance will be issued instead upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement. Participants will be awarded a certificate of completion upon meeting the 75% course attendance requirement.įor courses with formal assessment component, participants will be awarded the certification of completion upon passing the assessment. This workshop is suitable for sports coaches, PE teacher and educators with a keen interest on using sport as a platform for character development. *Participants will be provided with the hardcopy GFL toolkit during the workshop Group based micro-coaching for conducting a values-based sporting activity.Group Activity Using the GFL framework to design training plans.Recap on Principles and concepts of the GFL Framework.Practical Demonstration of Values-based training session.Sample Session Plans using the GFL framework.Actions required by the coach (Check-Act-Reinforce).Principles and concepts of the Game-for-Life (GFL) framework.The GFL toolkit is also recognised by the International Olympic Council as a Olympic Values Education Programme (OVEP). The GFL approach is part of the Values and Principles in Sport (VPS) course created by SportSG and MOE. The Game for Life practical workshop will equip participants with a deeper understanding of the necessary components required to intentionally design sporting activities that integrates the teaching of skills and values seamlessly. Specially designed to help sport educators and coaches inculcate values in a clear and comprehensive way, Sport Singapore’s Game-for-Life (GFL) toolkit presents sporting pursuits as opportunities for character development and learning valuable life lessons.
